Lisette Turns One–Family Photos

Boundless Playground
South Windsor, CT Community Center

I know her mom and dad can’t believe it has already been a year, but Lisette just celebrated the milestone of her first birthday! As parents’ of a 20 month old, Jake and I can attest to how quickly the time goes, how much a little one changes, and how much fun the age is to watch. We had a great time documenting this little one for her one year photos. She is adorable, sweet, and did amazing behind the camera. She loved playing on the playground, and we were so excited to be able to capture it all to be remembered. Little ones change so quickly, so it is nice to keep just a little piece of her frozen in time. Lisette did awesome and mom and dad had a great photo session as well. We hope you enjoy checking out this cutie. Happy Birthday Lisette, we hope to see you again soon!

Sandra and Jason had a wedding to not only celebrate their love but to also officially blend their families into one. Together they have an adorable little son and separately they each have two children. They were excited for the kids to be a big part of the day. They even presented them with little gifts during the ceremony. It was a fun day for all and an intimate wedding with all their most important people.

Vanessa & Colin–Nantasket Beach Resort Wedding

Vanessa & Colin
July 12, 2014
Bridal Prep, Photos, Reception: Nantasket Beach Resort, Hull, MA
Ceremony: St. Paul Parish, Hingham, MA

Vanessa and Colin are two very special and sweet individuals. They were celebrated by family and friends over a beautiful July weekend. Their wedding was held at Nantasket Beach Resort which is located alongside a long stretch of beach in Hull, MA. These two were blessed with a perfect weather weekend to enjoy a wedding at the beach.
Not only was the resort a great place for guests to spend the weekend, but the area was also a nice place for a mini vacation. Jake and I enjoyed checking out the area as we prepared for the day. We especially love the little town of Hingham where the ceremony was held. The church was old and absolutely beautiful. It was a beautiful place for Vanessa and Colin to exchange vows.
This wedding was a special day as a photographer for me in particular. In my previous line of work, Vanessa was a member of my staff. She was cheerful, sweet, and willing to do anything for anyone. Absolutely nothing has changed about her. You can see her genuine nature in every photo, and she managed to find a man who is every bit the same. Colin is just as warm and welcoming as Vanessa. Jake and I were very excited and honored to have been a part of this wedding for two deserving and kind individuals. We also saw how excited each family was about these two joining in matrimony. They really are a special duo who deserved to be celebrated. Vanessa and Colin we hope you enjoy looking through your photos as much as we enjoyed capturing the moments of your day.

Sarah & Kyle–Publick House Wedding

Sarah & Kyle
June 28, 2014
Getting Ready: Private Residence, Bolton, CT
Formal Photos: Heritage Farm, Bolton, CT
Publick House, Sturbridge, MA
Ceremony: Bolton Congregational Church, Bolton, CT

Sarah and Kyle have an adorable story and long history with each other. Instead of boy meets girl, falls in love with girl, and asks girl to marry him, it is a bit the opposite. In the case of Sarah and Kyle, these two met in the first grade and Sarah just knew. She said then that she wanted to marry Kyle. She wrote him love notes and never hid her young love. Being young, it was a bit overwhelming for Kyle since the first grade isn’t exactly a time in life when it is cool to have a female admirer. However, they grew up together in a small town and were a part of each other’s lives from then on. Fast forward to high school and finally these two started the evolution from friends to one day husband and wife. They took the first step by attending prom together, although they went as “just friends.” However, as Kyle’s brother mentioned in his best-man speech, soon something began to change. It was Kyle who started coming home from college to visit Sarah. It was Kyle who began to talk about her more and more. And finally Kyle figured out what Sarah already discovered in the first grade, they were meant to be husband and wife! I cannot tell you how much we loved being a part of such a great love story and amazing wedding day. Their families surrounded them with love and support. It was a truly special day. Sarah and Kyle, congratulations on finally fulfilling your destiny. We wish you both the best and thank you for including us in your day. Also, thank you for introducing us to an incredible location for photos. Heritage Farm is a special place that I know we will visit and use time and time again.
