Danielle and Tony–Great Neck Country Club Wedding

Danielle and Tony
October 16, 2015

Danielle and Tony had a gorgeous, autumn day for their wedding.  We met Danielle at her aunt’s beach house in Groton Long Point.  The ladies were there getting ready, and we were able to use the beach for some photos.  After we headed over to the country club to meet up with Tony and the guys.  Danielle and Tony kept the day traditional and waited until their ceremony to see each other.  They both looked awesome.  Neither of them could hide their emotions the first moment their eyes locked with each other.  No matter when it is during the day, I always love the moment a bride and groom see each other for the first time.  Danielle and Tony’s moment was a particularly candid and sweet one.

Since these two were married just before sunset, we were able to get some great light for their photos.  There was an amazing tree on the golf course that provided an interesting and magical backdrop for the photos.  Great Neck golf course was quite picturesque.  The photos on the golf course were beautiful.  The venue is situated with a great view and an awesome outdoor patio.  All along the patio, heat lamps and an outdoor fire kept guests warm, so they could enjoy a cocktail or two outside.

All the touches that Danielle and Tony added to the venue were fantastic and personal.   They had friends help them construct all the natural elements throughout.  The floral centerpieces looked great.  I loved their idea of giving out seeds as a gift to guests.

All the love that family and friends had for the couple was apparent throughout the day. They were not only toasted by the people who love them but they were serenaded as well.  Danielle’s cousin wrote some adorable and hilarious songs scripted to their favorite oldies for the occasion.  There was no shortage of fun and laughter at this wedding.
