Mikaela & Jeremy @ Union Station Northampton

Mikaela and Jeremy had their wedding at Union Station Banquet Hall in Northampton, MA. The little city is one of our favorite places to visit. We go for the restaurants, the events, the shops, and especially Thornes’ Market. However this was the first time we went to photograph a wedding! Tucked just behind the city center and along the bike path is Union Station Banquets. It was the original train station and remains alongside active tracks. The inside of the building is beautiful and Northampton is a perfect place for guests to enjoy a wedding weekend. It was the perfect venue for a particularly fun crowd that was eager to party.

For Mikaela and Jeremy, Northampton was the exact middle between both of their families. They, too, loved the little downtown and New England charm of the city. The venue provided guests with the rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and after party at their bar in an underground tunnel. The bar is open to the public and definitely worth a visit.

Since they were at a train station, Mikaela and Jeremy used the platform for their first look. I personally love the symbolism surrounding the idea of a journey that seems so poignant for a wedding day. Their family and friends came ready to party, and they were surrounded by so much love all night. The dance floor was never empty and the toasts were heartfelt and full of laughs. It was a perfect day for sweet couple. Mikaela and Jeremy were fun, funny, and so excited to get married. We had an amazing time capturing their day. Check out some of the moments below.
