Shuttle Meadow Country Club
June 2, 2018
Christine and Brian had a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends at a venue particularly special to Christine. Her family has belongs to the club and has created many memories there throughout the years. It is always nice when a venue holds special meaning. The weather was particularly perfect spring wedding and a reception overlooking a golf course. Although the forecast predicted a day full of rain, there was never more than a couple drops all day. Instead it was a hot one full of sunshine.
We met Christine at her parents house before the ceremony for a few photos of her getting ready. The light in the backyard was beautiful for some portrait photos. Once everyone was ready, we all headed to St. Thomas the Apostle Church for the ceremony. Father Moran held an amazing service for the newlyweds. It was full of love, wisdom, and even some laughs. The light in the church is beautiful. We have enjoyed photographing there in the past, so we were looking forward to more beautiful church photos.
Once the ceremony was over, everyone headed over to the Country Club for the reception. Guests enjoyed a nice cocktail hour outside. It was a perfect afternoon and evening to enjoy some drinks on the outdoor patio. Afterwards Christine and Brian were treated to some beautiful toasts and perhaps a mini roast courtesy of their siblings. This is always my favorite part of the wedding day since the emotions and reactions are so genuine. It is always fun to capture toast candids. From the ceremony to the speeches to the fun with friends, it was not hard to see how much love surrounded these two on their wedding day. Their large families were warm, welcoming, and so much fun to spend time with. It was a pleasure to capture the day and meet everyone. Enjoy the photos!
