Matt and Chelsea had a gorgeous Saturday wedding in Norwalk, CT. Together these two are sweet, laid back, and overwhelmingly loved. They have known each other for years. They are from the same town. They grew up together, and have the same life long friends. I loved Chelsea’s response when I asked her how she choose the mansion for her venue. I’ll paraphrase…Matt and Chelsea grew up in Fairfield. Both of their families are there. They decided they would move away together and try a new area. So they made the 10 mile journey from home and settled in Norwalk. Cranbury Park was a place they would visit on the weekends. When it came time for their wedding, the mansion just seemed like the right venue.
If you checked out the sneak peek, you know that I LOVE their first look photos under the tree. I have an obsession with a weeping European Beech tree (just ask Jake. I point them out wherever we go). This one is particularly amazing with its grandeur. It was such a magical setting for a magical moment. Chelsea’s smile was infectious, and I love the way that Matt kissed his bride on the forehead. This was not for the camera or by request from us but rather common gesture from Matt to the girl he loves. We are so happy we could capture it for them to look at for the lifetime to come.
Guests were treated to a buffet of delicious food thanks to The Herbaceous Catering Company and more than enough dessert with cupcakes from Alina’s and an ice cream sundae bar. These two listened to heartfelt and hilarious toasts that had everyone laughing and tearing up. Matt and his mom created an adorable mother-son dance routine. And guests spent the night dancing to great music from the band. It was a truly memorable and perfect wedding day. We are so glad we were able to capture the memories.
