Mei-Ling and Kieran had our favorite kind of wedding, a backyard, tented affair with elegant, simple, and personal details. However as backyards go, this was not your average yard. Family friends graciously offered their home that had been carefully curated over the years to host parties. It is complete with a barn, gazebo, and pond area all dedicated to enhancing the party experience. I definitely want to spend my evenings and weekends here during the warm months.
Mei-Ling and Kieran are welcoming and warm individuals. It is no surprise so many people came from all over the world to celebrate their day with them. They both put their own touches on the days as well. Kieran made and carved the sweetheart table, and Mei-Ling crocheted their adorable cake topper. They were toasted with great speeches and lots of love. Mei-Ling is quite the dancer, so she kept everyone moving all afternoon. It was finally a hot, dry spring day in Connecticut. Not only were we lucky to be apart of this day, but we were lucky enough to meet another couple from our home town.
